Raise the head and turn the key off. At the front of the machine, loosen the thumb screw on the brush door, lower the door about half an inch and lift it off, then slide the brush out. Slide the new brush onto the driver and turn it slowly until the drive lugs line up with the slots, push it all the way in, refit the door and tighten the thumb screw. Clarke recommends turning each brush end for end now and then to reverse the bristle direction, which makes them last longer. Empty and rinse the debris tray after every shift. Fit the same brush type on both sides. Brushes are wear items and aren't covered by Nilfisk's machine warranty except for manufacturing defects.
