High-speed burnishing throws off fine finish dust. On the Clarke Ultra Speed 20 and 20T, the flexible shroud and felt seal around the pad send that dust into a disposable bag on top of the control housing, so it doesn't settle back on the floor you just polished. These are the replacement bags Clarke lists for it, part 54195A, in packs of 10.

Clarke's manual is clear that the dust collection system won't work properly if the bag is full or torn. A fresh bag keeps the passive dust control doing its job.
