Fresh Blades for a Dry Floor Behind Your Vantage 14

The Clarke Vantage 14 picks up its solution with a squeegee that comes off in one hand. When it starts to streak or leave water at the edges, the blades are worn. The 9100000077 blade kit replaces both: one front and one rear blade in polyurethane, the material Clarke fits to the Vantage 14 from the factory.

If the squeegee body itself is cracked or bent, or you want a second squeegee ready to clip on, choose the 9100000085 squeegee assembly instead. Nilfisk lists both as 370 mm (14.5 in) kits for the Vantage 14.

Turn the Rear Blade Before You Replace It

The rear blade wears first at its front corner. Clarke's manual has you turn the blade over so a fresh corner takes its place. Once the other corners are worn too, fit new blades. Check both blades for cuts and tears daily after use, as the manual's schedule calls for.

Why Use Genuine Clarke Blades

  • Front and rear in one kit. Replace both at once so the squeegee seals evenly.

  • No tools. The blades are held by fastening straps that unhook by hand.

Changing the Blades

Disconnect the vacuum hose and take the squeegee off the machine, then clean it. For the rear blade, unhook the fastening strap from its fasteners, turn or replace the blade and refit the strap. Do the same for the front blade with its own strap. Refit the squeegee by guiding its hooks and vacuum hole into the brush deck housings, then reconnect the vacuum hose. The Vantage 14 operator manual on this page has the drawings. Squeegee blades are wear items and aren't covered by Nilfisk's machine warranty except for manufacturing defects.
