EDIC 14100A: Pump Flood Water Another 25 Feet Away


The FloodBuster comes with one 25 ft discharge hose. That's enough when a floor drain, a sink or a door is close by. When the nearest safe place to dump water is across a basement, up a stairwell or out past the driveway, 25 feet runs out fast.

The EDIC 14100A adds another 25 ft of 1-1/2 inch discharge hose with quick connects. Lock it onto the end of your FloodBuster's dump hose and keep pumping. You can link several together to move the water as far from the damage as the job needs.

Why It's Worth Having in the Van

Does it fit my FloodBuster?

Yes. EDIC makes the 14100A for the FloodBuster FB50. It matches the 1-1/2 inch, 25 ft discharge hose that comes with the machine and connects to it with quick connects.

Can I connect more than one?

Yes, EDIC designed them to chain together so you can move flood water farther from the damage site. Order one 14100A for every extra 25 feet you need.

Will a longer hose slow the pump down?

Somewhat. Every extra foot of hose, and especially every foot the water has to climb, adds resistance and lowers the flow from the 50 GPM pump. Keep the run as short and as downhill as the site allows.

Can I use a garden hose instead?

You can thread on adapters, but a 5/8 inch garden hose chokes the flow of a 50 GPM pump. The FloodBuster uses a 1-1/2 inch dump hose for that reason, and the 14100A keeps that diameter all the way out.

How does it ship?
