The PadLoc pad driver (920958, 220 mm) takes the place of the brush on your 220NX and holds a standard floor pad. It sets the machine up as a pad scrubber, the gentler setup for polished, coated and finished floors.

Brush or Pad Driver?

A brush digs into grout, texture and heavy soil. A pad driver spreads the scrubbing evenly over a flat pad, which is kinder to finished floors, and you change how aggressive it is just by changing the pad.

Many crews keep both and swap by floor type: brush for the back of house and textured tile, pads for the polished front of house.

Pads load up with soil faster than you'd think. Keep a few spares on the cart, flip or change them as soon as they look grey, and rinse used pads at the end of the shift. A loaded pad pushes dirt around instead of lifting it.
