When the WV 900 switches from water to dry debris, NaceCare's manual calls for this 14-inch Permatex primary filter together with an NVM-4BH bag. It covers the 14-inch drum and stops dust before it can reach the motor.

Permatex is a tough, washable felt-type media made for the abuse a 12-gallon shop vac sees: sawdust, grit, drywall dust and whatever else ends up on a warehouse floor.
