NaceCare S-Wand Kit: a Wider, More Comfortable Floor Tool for Your Backpack


The S-wand kit turns an RSV 150 or RBV 150NX into a wide-area floor machine. The curved S-shaped wand keeps your wrist straight while you sweep the floor tool side to side, and the 370 mm (about 15-inch) floor tool covers more floor with each pass than a standard 12-inch tool.

The kit includes the 2-piece S-wand, the floor tool and the 8020251 enlarger cuff that joins the wand to the backpack hose.


The Owner's Insights on the S-Wand

Backpacks are great in theater rows and stairwells, but in a long corridor or an open office the standard straight wand gets tiring. The S-wand lets the operator walk upright and swing the tool in an arc, a lot like a dust mop, which is faster and kinder to the back over a full shift.

Keep the original wand and tools for detail work. The S-wand is for open floor, not for under desks or between seat legs.


Which Backpacks Does the S-Wand Kit Fit?

NaceCare notes that new backpacks ship with the enlarger cuff already on the hose, so on a newer machine the kit's cuff is a spare. Buying a new RSV 150? It's also sold with the S-wand and floor tool in the box. Need a replacement hose? See the 5-foot backpack hose 601100.
