What's included with every TT 1120:

  • TT 1120 corded scrubber with 11 gal tanks and 65' cord
  • Pad driver for 20" pads (pads sold separately)
  • Nyloscrub package: 20" Nyloscrub brush 606550

The NaceCare TT 1120: A 20-Inch Corded Floor Scrubber With Nothing to Charge

The cafeteria gets mopped every night, and every morning there's a gray film in the grout and a wet-floor sign by the door. A mop only spreads dirty water around. The NaceCare TT 1120 electric floor scrubber scrubs a 20-inch path and vacuums the floor dry behind it in one pass, and because it plugs into the wall, there's no battery to charge, water or replace.

It carries 11 gallons of solution and 11 of recovery, presses the pad down with 105 lbs, and NaceCare rates it at up to 22,000 square feet an hour. A 65-foot cord covers a big room from one outlet.

The Owner's Insights on the TT 1120

The TT 1120 is the corded twin of NaceCare's battery TBL 1120: the same 20-inch path, the same 11-gallon tanks and the same 37 x 22 x 43 inch footprint on both spec sheets, without the lithium battery. That saves you $2,500. If you clean after hours and there's an outlet within 65 feet, the cord costs you very little.

What I like: the flip-up head makes pad changes quick, the squeegee pivots on turns and comes off for cleaning, and the whole machine comes apart into sections so it can go up a flight of stairs or into a van. NaceCare also says there's enough pad pressure to strip with it, not just scrub.

Two honest notes. It's heavy: NaceCare's spec sheet lists 238 lbs, so plan on two people for stairs, even in sections. And it's pad-assist, not self-propelled. The pad pulls it along on level floors, but there's no drive motor for ramps.

Why You'll Love the TT 1120 Corded Floor Scrubber

  • 105 lbs of pad pressure. Enough for daily scrubbing and, NaceCare says, for stripping too.

  • 1,200 W vacuum, 100 inches of water lift, 95 cfm. The floor is dry enough to walk on right behind the squeegee.

  • 11-gallon tanks. Fewer trips to the mop sink on a big floor.

  • Corded power. No runtime limit, no charging, no batteries to replace in a few years.

  • Patented flip-up head. Swap a pad or brush without tipping the machine over.

  • Comes apart in sections. Carry it up stairs or between jobs, and the stainless steel chassis won't rust.

Pad Driver Only or With the Nyloscrub Brush?

NaceCare TT 1120 floor scrubber

Pad driver (standard). The TT 1120 complete with a pad driver for 20-inch floor pads, $4,995. Pads are sold separately. Right for smooth VCT, sealed concrete and LVT.

TT 1120 next to a Nyloscrub brush

With the Nyloscrub brush. Adds NaceCare's 20-inch Nyloscrub brush (606550), the scrubbing brush for grout lines, textured tile and uneven floors where a pad rides over the low spots. It adds $271, the same as buying the brush separately, rounded to the dollar.

NaceCare also lists a Polyscrub brush (606028), a Long-life brush (606551) and a Ten-Tec brush (918295) for this machine. Tell us your floor and we'll match the right one, or call (855) 601-5678.

Corded or Battery? TT 1120 vs TBL 1120

Choose the corded TT 1120 if you clean after hours, your floors are near outlets, and you'd rather never think about batteries. It costs $2,500 less than the TBL 1120 with one battery and runs as long as it's plugged in.

Choose the battery TBL 1120 if you clean while people are around, because a cord across a walkway is a trip hazard, or if outlets are far apart. Its NX1K lithium battery runs up to 2 hours per charge.

On realistic coverage: NaceCare's 22,000 square feet an hour is a best case. Take off 30 to 50% for turns, refills and moving the cord, and plan on roughly 11,000 to 15,000 square feet an hour.

TT 1120 or Another Electric Floor Scrubber?

The TT 1120 costs $4,995, more than the other corded scrubbers we sell. You get a wider 20-inch path, 105 lbs of pad pressure and 11-gallon tanks. They're lighter and cost less.

ICE i18C. An 18-inch path, 9 and 10 gallon tanks, 55 lbs of pad pressure and 138 lbs, for $1,924 less. See the ICE i18C.

Clarke CA30 17E. A 17-inch path, 13.2-gallon tanks and 70 lbs of pad pressure, for $1,621 less. See the Clarke CA30 17E.

Viper AS430C. A 17-inch path, 13-gallon tanks and 77 lbs of pad pressure, for $1,980 less.

Stripping, not daily scrubbing? A floor machine like the NaceCare NA 20SS ($1,999) plus a wet vacuum does the strip job for less.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I buy the corded TT 1120 or the battery TBL 1120?

They share the 20-inch path, 11-gallon tanks and footprint. Pick the TT 1120 if you clean after hours near outlets: it costs $2,500 less and never needs charging. Pick the TBL 1120 if a cord would cross walkways while people are around or outlets are far apart.

What comes in the box?

The TT 1120 complete with a pad driver, per NaceCare's price list. Floor pads are sold separately. The Nyloscrub package adds NaceCare's 20-inch Nyloscrub brush (606550).

Can the TT 1120 strip floors?

NaceCare says its 105 lbs of pad pressure is enough for both scrubbing and stripping. Use a stripping pad and a stripper diluted for machine use, and pick the slurry up with the squeegee as you go.

Can I take it up stairs?

Yes. NaceCare designed it to come apart into sections so you can carry it up and down stairs or between jobs. The complete machine is listed at 238 lbs, so plan on two people even in sections.

Is it self-propelled?

No. It's a pad-assist scrubber: the turning pad helps pull it forward on level floors, but there's no drive motor. On ramps you'll be pushing it.

Which brushes and pads fit?

One 20-inch head at a time. NaceCare lists the Nyloscrub 606550, Polyscrub 606028, Long-life light brush 606551 and Ten-Tec 918295 brushes, plus the Padlock pad driver 606403 for 20-inch pads. Tell us your floor and we'll suggest the right one.

What daily maintenance does it need?

Drain and rinse the dirty water tank after every use. Check the pad or brush, the squeegee blades and the filters for wear and replace damaged parts right away. Store it with the brush deck raised so the pad or brush doesn't flatten.

How fast does it clean?

NaceCare rates it at up to 22,000 square feet an hour. Turns, refills and moving the cord take 30 to 50% off any rated figure, so plan on roughly 11,000 to 15,000 square feet an hour.

What warranty does the TT 1120 have?

Under NaceCare's 2025 US warranty chart for Twintec electric scrubbers: 10 years on polyethylene and structural foam, 5 years on steel frames, 3 years on switches, motors and electrical parts and 2 years of labor. NaceCare also calls out a 10-year warranty on the brush deck.
