What's included with every 1800P pumper:

  • 20-gallon pumper wet vac with built-in 500 W sump pump and 42' cord
  • 33' discharge hose
  • BS7 kit: 10' hose, 3-piece stainless steel wand and 16" wet floor tool

NaceCare 1800P Pumper Wet Vac: Pump Out While You Vacuum, Up to 60 Gallons a Minute

A supply line breaks overnight in a basement storage room with no floor drain. With an ordinary wet vac you fill 20 gallons, stop, roll it to a sink, lift, pour and start again, for hours. The NaceCare WV 1800P pumper wet vac doesn't stop: a float-activated sump pump inside the 20-gallon tank pushes water out through a 33-foot discharge hose while you keep vacuuming.

The 500-watt centrifugal pump moves up to 60 gallons per minute on the flat and 7 gallons per minute up 22 feet, enough to send water up a basement stairway to a sink or out a window. Choose a single 1,200-watt motor (WV 1800P) with 100 inches of water lift, or twin motors (WVD 1800P) with 180 cfm of airflow.

The Owner's Insights on the 1800P Pumper

A pumper is an expensive wet vac, so I'd only buy one where water has nowhere to go: basements without drains, elevator pits, parking garage stairwells, flooded mechanical rooms, and restoration crews who walk into a different building on every call. There it earns its price on the first big leak.

Be realistic about what it is. It weighs 85 to 90 lbs and ships with a wand kit, not a squeegee, so it's a pickup machine, not a floor dryer. If your building has floor drains, the WV 1800DH does the same pickup for much less. Single or twin motor? The single motor has more water lift, which helps through a long hose. The twin motors move nearly twice the air, which pulls shallow water across a floor tool faster.

Why You'll Love a Wet Vac With Continuous Pump Out

  • Continuous pump out. The float switches the pump on as the tank fills, so you never stop to dump.

  • 60 gpm on the flat, 7 gpm at 22 feet. Send water to a sink, a drain or outside, even one floor up.

  • 33-foot discharge hose included. Run it to the nearest drain without moving the machine.

  • 20-gallon structural foam tank. Rustproof, and covered by NaceCare for 10 years.

  • A pump built for dirty water. High-impact plastic housing for heat and chemical resistance, a stainless steel shaft, a triple seal and thermal overload protection.

  • Rotating ball float shutoff and a 42-foot cord. The motor stays dry, and the outlet can stay well away from the water.

Single Motor or Twin Motors? WV 1800P vs WVD 1800P

WV 1800P, $3,349. One 1,200 W (1.6 HP) motor, 100 inches of water lift, 95 cfm, 64 dB(A), 85 lbs. The pick for deep standing water and long hose runs.

WVD 1800P, $300 more. Two 800 W motors, 90 inches of water lift, 180 cfm, 67 dB(A), 90 lbs. The pick for wide floors with a shallow layer of water, where airflow matters more than lift.

Both have the same tank, the same 500 W pump, the same 33-foot discharge hose and the same BS7 wand kit. Not sure which fits your calls? Tell us what you pump out and how far the water has to go, or call (855) 601-5678.

How to Use a Pumper Wet Vac on a Flooded Floor

1. Make it safe first. Shut off power to anything electrical sitting in the water, and plug the pumper into a GFCI-protected outlet above the water line.

2. Lay out the discharge hose. Run the 33-foot hose to a sink, floor drain or outside, keep it free of kinks and tie the end down so it can't whip around.

3. Work toward the machine. Start at the far edge and pull water toward you with the wet floor tool. When the tank level reaches the float, the pump starts on its own and keeps pace.

4. Finish clean. We'd finish by picking up a bucket of clean water so the pump and hose flush out, then empty the tank and leave the head off to dry.

One thing a pumper won't do is dry the floor. After the standing water is gone, you'll still want air movers or a squeegee pass on hard floors.

Pumper, Dump Hose or Flood Extractor?

Have floor drains? The NaceCare WV 1800DH is the same 20-gallon machine with a dump hose instead of a pump, for $1,950 less. Honestly, if every room you clean has a drain, that's the smarter buy.

Comparing flood machines? The EDIC Floodbuster flood pump extractor is another dedicated flood machine with continuous pump out, rated at 50 gpm, for $783 more than the WV 1800P. For everyday spills, see our full range of commercial wet dry vacuums.

Why You Should Consider a NaceCare Pumper Vacuum

NaceCare is Numatic's North American distributor, and Numatic has built structural foam wet vacs in England for decades, so floats, hoses and pump parts stay easy to get. The 1800P pumpers are covered by NaceCare's 2025 US warranty for wet dry vacuums: 10 years on the structural foam body, and 2 years on the motors, switches, electrical parts and labor. We're an authorized NaceCare retailer, so that warranty comes with every machine. Found a lower price? Call or message us and we'll beat it.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a pumper wet vac work?

It vacuums like any wet vac, but a float-activated sump pump sits in the tank. As the water level rises, the pump switches on and pushes water out through a 33-foot discharge hose, so the tank never fills and you never stop to dump it.

How fast does it pump, and how high?

NaceCare rates the 500 W centrifugal pump at 60 gallons per minute on a flat surface and 7 gallons per minute at 22 feet of lift, enough to pump up a basement stairway or out a window.

What's included?

The pumper, a 33-foot discharge hose and NaceCare's BS7 wand kit: a 10-foot hose, a 3-piece stainless steel wand and a 16-inch wet floor tool. NaceCare's C3A 29-inch front-mounted squeegee fits the 1800 series if you want to add one; ask us.

WV 1800P or WVD 1800P?

The WV 1800P has one 1,200 W motor with 100 inches of water lift. The WVD 1800P has two 800 W motors with 180 cfm and 90 inches of lift, and costs $300 more. Pick the single for deep water and long hose runs, the twin for wide floors with shallow water.

Do I need a floor drain?

No, and that's the point. Run the discharge hose up to 33 feet to a sink, drain or outside, up to 22 feet above the machine. If you always have a floor drain, the WV 1800DH with a dump hose costs $1,950 less.

Can it vacuum dry debris?

No. NaceCare sells the 1800P as a wet vacuum with continuous pumping. For dust and dry debris, use a dry or wet dry vacuum such as the WV 900 with the BB8 kit.

How heavy is it, and how does it ship?

85 lbs (WV 1800P) or 90 lbs (WVD 1800P) empty, in a box about 29 x 24 x 41 inches. It ships by parcel carrier; have two people lift it off the truck.

What warranty does it have?

NaceCare's 2025 US warranty chart for wet dry vacuums: 10 years on the structural foam body, and 2 years on the motors, switches, electrical parts and labor.
