Level Tile Edges That Sit Too High

Lippage is the raised edge where one stone tile sits higher than the one next to it. It catches carts and toes, and no amount of polishing fixes it, because the problem is height, not shine. The StoneFlash lippage driver turns a 17-inch Orbot into a small grinder for that job. It's a metal driver plate with eight Velcro holders for 3-inch diamond discs, and it takes the high edges down until the tiles meet.

What You'll Need

  • A 17-inch Orbot: Vibe, SprayBorg or LiFE.

  • A set of 8 3-inch diamond discs, which are sold separately. The driver doesn't work without them.

  • StoneFlash pads to restore the finish after grinding.

Before You Start

Grinding removes stone, and the ground areas will look dull until you polish them back. Plan the job as grind, then StoneFlash steps to hone and polish. If you haven't ground stone before, call (855) 601-5678 first and we'll walk you through the setup.
