Which Pad Driver to Choose?
Powr-Flite offers high-quality pad drivers as an additional accessory to your floor machine,sold separately or you can choose a kit on the product menu above.
While a required accessory in order to operate your floor machine with a floor pad, we offer this as an optional add-on since many users already have universal pad drivers in their fleet of equipments.
If you do not have a pad driver be sure to add one to your floor machine purchase.
NM202 Floor Machine operators have two primary choices when selecting a pad driver: the Tufted Pad Driver and the Polymeric Pad Driver. These devices differ in their method of securing the pad to the machine and expected durability.
The Tufted Pad Driver employs robust polypropylene bristles, measuring approximately 1/2 inch in length, to firmly grip the pad. In contrast, the Polymeric Pad Driver utilizes a system of small hooks to securely fasten the floor pad.
Both options effectively attach the floor pad to the driver and machine. The Tufted Pad Driver typically offers greater longevity due to its thicker construction and the ability to replace individual components if damage occurs. On the other hand, the Polymeric Pad Driver typically presents a more budget-friendly option for users.
When deciding between these two pad driver types, consider factors such as durability requirements and budget constraints to determine the most suitable choice for your floor maintenance needs.
