Clarke Focus II Disc Scrub Brushes, 13, 14 or 17 Inch, Poly, Nylon and Grit

Pads ride on top of grout lines and textured tile. Brushes reach into them. These are Clarke's own disc brushes for the Clarke Focus II walk-behind scrubber disc decks: 13 inches for the Disc 26, 14 inches for the Disc 28 and 17 inches for the Disc 34. The deck runs two at a time, and they're sold one at a time. The 13-inch brushes also fit the Focus II MicroRider Disc 26.
The bristle sets how hard the brush scrubs. Start with the softest one that gets your floor clean, and only step up when you have to.
| Brush | Best for | Sizes |
|---|---|---|
| Polypropylene | Everyday scrubbing of sealed concrete, VCT and tile. The general-purpose choice. | 13, 14, 17 in |
| Soft nylon | Gentle scrubbing of finished or delicate floors, and grouted tile you don't want to scratch. | 13, 14, 17 in |
| Lite grit | Abrasive bristles for textured floors and safety tile that need more bite than nylon. | 13, 17 in |
| Medium grit | Heavier soil on rough concrete and quarry tile. Clarke calls it Clean Grit. | 13, 14, 17 in |
| Heavy grit | The most aggressive brush, for embedded grime and coatings on rough concrete. Clarke calls it Super Grit. | 13, 17 in |
Grit brushes are abrasive. Test them in a corner first, and don't use them on floor finish you want to keep. For the softest touch on finished VCT, a red pad on the matching pad driver is usually the better tool.
Reaches the low spots. Bristles get into grout lines and textured tile that a flat pad skims over.
Five bristle choices. From soft nylon to heavy grit, so you can match the brush to the floor instead of the other way around.
Genuine Clarke fit. The brushes Clarke lists for the Focus II disc decks, with the same hub as the factory brushes.
Raise the scrub head and turn the key off, then unlatch and lift off the brush housings on both sides. Push down on both sides of the old brush until the gimbal releases. Slide the new brush under the motor plate, line up the lugs on the motor gimbal with the slots in the brush and pull it up until it locks. On the MicroRider, follow the brush steps in its own operator manual. Fit the same brush type on both sides so the deck scrubs evenly. Rinse the brushes after each shift and let them dry with the head raised, so the bristles don't take a set. Brushes are wear items and aren't covered by Nilfisk's machine warranty except for manufacturing defects. Running pads instead? See the matching Focus II disc pad driver.

Two. The disc deck runs a pair, and they're sold one at a time. Fit the same type on both sides.
Polypropylene for everyday scrubbing. Step up to grit only for rough concrete or heavy soil, and use soft nylon on finished floors.
Clarke also lists 14-inch lite grit (10383A) and heavy grit (11426B) brushes, but Nilfisk doesn't currently show a price for them. Call us and we'll check availability.
Only for manufacturing defects. Nilfisk treats brushes as wear items.
