Your Clarke MA30 13B ships with one brush, the medium nylon white. It's the right call for everyday tile, VCT and sealed concrete, but it's too aggressive for a high-gloss floor and too soft for rough, ground-in soil. Clarke makes four 340 mm (13.4 in) cylindrical brushes for the same drive hub, so you can pick the one that suits the floor you clean most.
These are the genuine Clarke brushes from the MA30 13B parts list. Keep a spare medium brush on the shelf and a worn one never holds up a shift.
Which Brush Do You Need?
Medium Nylon, White (9100002066). The brush that comes in the box. For daily cleaning of tile, VCT and sealed concrete. Order this one to replace a worn original.
Soft Nylon, Black (9100002069). For high-gloss and finished floors where you want to clean without dulling the shine.
Hard Grit 320, Grey (9100002067). Grit-loaded bristles for rough, heavily soiled floors that can take abrasion. Keep it off finished and delicate floors.
Microfiber Roller (9100002068). For sensitive floors. It wipes rather than scrubs and doesn't pick up debris, so dust mop first.
Genuine Clarke parts. The same part numbers Clarke lists in the MA30 13B operator and parts manual.
One machine, four floors. Swap brushes between jobs instead of buying a second scrubber.
Tool-free change. One lever releases the brush from the hub, so a swap takes less than a minute.
Fits both MA30 13B packages. The standard charger (9087383020) and fast charger (56385457) machines take the same brushes.
How to Change the Brush
Switch the machine off. Turn the brush lever counter-clockwise and slide the brush off the drive hub. Slide the new brush onto the hub and turn the lever clockwise to lock it in. The full steps, with pictures, are in the MA30 13B operator manual.
Clarke's maintenance schedule has you wash the brush with water and detergent after every use, along with the brush compartment and the debris tray, and check the bristles for wear. Brushes are wear items, so Nilfisk's machine warranty doesn't cover them except for manufacturing defects.
