Run Floor Pads on Your 440NX


The PadLoc drive boards (911844, 220 mm, pack of 2) take the place of the two brushes on your 440NX, one per side, and each holds a 225 mm floor pad. They set the machine up as a pad scrubber, the gentler setup for polished, coated and finished floors.

Brush or Pad Driver?

A brush digs into grout, texture and heavy soil. A pad driver spreads the scrubbing evenly over a flat pad, which is kinder to finished floors, and you change how aggressive it is just by changing the pad.

Many crews keep both and swap by floor type: brush for the back of house and textured tile, pads for the polished front of house.


The Owner's Insights on 440NX Pad Drivers

Pads load up with soil faster than you'd think. Keep a few spares on the cart, flip or change them as soon as they look grey, and rinse used pads at the end of the shift. A loaded pad pushes dirt around instead of lifting it.

Does it come with pads?

No. It fits our 225 mm 440NX floor pads, sold in packs of 5.

Can I switch back to brushes?

Yes. Take the boards off and fit the brushes. The 440NX scrub brush page has the Nyloscrub and Ten-Tec packs.

How many do I need?

Two, and each order is a pack of 2, so one order does the whole machine.
