Your 440NX runs two 220 mm brushes side by side, so each option is a pack of 2: one pack per machine. These are the two brushes NaceCare makes for it: the standard Nyloscrub for everyday scrubbing and the more aggressive Ten-Tec for heavy soil and textured floors.

Nyloscrub or Ten-Tec?

  • Nyloscrub (911931, 220 mm, pack of 2). The standard nylon brush for daily scrubbing on vinyl, VCT, sealed concrete and tile.

  • Ten-Tec (918296, 220 mm, pack of 2). NaceCare's red-level brush with abrasive filaments, for heavier soil, grout lines and textured safety floors.

Want to run floor pads instead? Swap the brushes for the PadLoc pad drive boards (911844).


The Owner's Insights on 440NX Brushes

I'd keep a Nyloscrub on the machine for everyday cleaning. The Ten-Tec earns its place where soil is heavy or the floor is textured; on a soft or freshly finished floor it's more brush than you need.

Which brush should I use?

Nyloscrub for everyday scrubbing on most hard floors. Ten-Tec for heavier soil, grout and textured floors. On polished or coated floors, a pad driver with a floor pad is the gentler choice.

How many do I need?

Two, and every option here is already a pack of 2, so one order does the whole machine.

Can I run floor pads instead?

Yes, with the PadLoc pad drive boards (911844), sold on their own page. They replace the brushes and each holds a 225 mm floor pad.
