Out of the box, the CTB 370NX is a hand-tool spotter: kneel, spray, extract. The CTX 170 X-tract wand lets the operator stand up and extract a whole traffic lane, an entry mat area or a hallway runner, with the same cordless machine.
The wand carries its own spray trigger and a floor pickup head, and connects to the CTB's 32 mm hose. Numatic lists it for its 32 mm CT and CTB extractors, including the CTB 370NX.
A cordless spotter with a floor wand covers the gap between spot cleaning and booking a full extraction: the dark lane by the reception desk or the path from the front door, cleaned before it turns into a whole-carpet job.
Be honest with yourself about scale, though. With a 1.6-gallon solution tank, the CTB is for lanes and patches, not a ballroom. For full-room extraction, a box or walk-behind extractor is the right tool.
NaceCare says the CTB's 920141 extraction nozzle is required on the CTB 370NX; it's part of the machine setup. Buying a new CTB 370NX? It's sold with the CTX 170 wand already included, which is the cheaper way to get it.

Yes. Numatic lists the X-tract wand for its 32 mm CT and CTB extractors, including the CTB 370NX.
It's best for traffic lanes, entry areas and patches. The CTB's tanks are small, so full rooms are a job for a box or walk-behind extractor.
