Nilfisk ECO Floor Pads, 14, 17 or 20 Inch, Case of 5
(855) 601-5678 · support@oneupcleaning.com
A floor machine is only as good as the pad under it. These Nilfisk ECO floor pads come in the three sizes most Clarke machines run, 14, 17 and 20 inches, in cases of 5. Match the size to your pad driver and the color to the job: black or brown to strip, green or blue to scrub, red or tan to buff, white to polish.
The 17-inch pads fit the Clarke CFP Pro 17HD, the Disc 34 deck of the Clarke Focus II walk-behind scrubber and the Clarke CA30 17E. The 20-inch pads fit the CFP Pro 20HD and the CFP Pro 20DS. The 14-inch pads fit the Focus II Disc 28, which runs two at a time.
| Pad | Job | Max speed | Sizes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Black, stripping | Removing worn finish and sealer with a water-based stripper. A denser pad than the brown. | 350 rpm | 17, 20 in |
| Brown, stripping | Medium-duty stripping with a water-based stripper. | 350 rpm | 14, 20 in |
| Green, scrubbing | Deep scrubbing of heavily soiled hard floors with a cleaning solution. | 350 rpm | 14, 17, 20 in |
| Blue, cleaning | Medium wet scrubbing or heavy-duty spray cleaning, including scrubbing concrete. | 350 rpm | 17, 20 in |
| Red, buffing | Light cleaning and buffing. Takes off light scuffs and dirt and brings up the gloss. | 800 rpm | 14, 17, 20 in |
| Tan, buffing | Light cleaning and buffing, like the red pad. | 800 rpm | 17 in |
| White, polishing | Polishing clean, dry floors, dry or with a fine mist, for a wet look on fresh finish. | 1,000 rpm | 14, 17, 20 in |
Job descriptions and speed limits come from Nilfisk's ECO pad leaflet. Every pad here is rated for a 175 RPM floor machine and for the 185 and 330 RPM settings on the CFP Pro 20DS. They're not burnishing pads, so keep them off 1,500 RPM machines.
Grout lines and textured tile are a different story: a flat pad rides over the low spots. Our guide on brush vs pad explains when a brush does the job better, and our floor pad color chart goes deeper on every color.
Made from recycled bottles. Nilfisk makes ECO pads from 100% recycled polyester fiber, mostly from soda and water bottles.
Sized for Clarke decks. 14, 17 and 20-inch pads for the pad drivers Clarke ships on its floor machines and disc scrubbers.
A color for every step. Strip, scrub, buff and polish with the same machine by changing the pad.
Case of 5. Enough pads to get through a stripping job or a few weeks of nightly scrubbing.
Center the pad on the driver so it runs flat. Rinse it after the shift, or flip it to the clean side when the first side loads up. Once a pad glazes over or wears thin, it scrubs unevenly and should be replaced. Pads are consumables and aren't covered by a machine warranty.
