Sandia Bags for Raven Backpack and Hipster Hip Vacuums


These are the genuine Sandia bags for Sandia's Raven backpack vacuums, in both the 10-quart and 6-quart sizes, and for the Hipster 6-quart hip vacuum. Pick your machine first, then the bag. The 6-quart Raven and the Hipster take the same bags, so a crew running both stocks one set.

Every one of these machines filters in two layers. A disposable paper micro-bag catches the dirt, and it sits inside a washable cloth shakeout bag that stays in the machine. Paper bags come 10 to a pack, and crews running a few machines every night usually keep 3 or 5 packs on the shelf.


Which Bag Do You Need?

  • Paper Bags. The everyday bag for the Super, Whisper and Aviation Raven and the Super Hipster, and the lowest cost per bag. Sandia part 10-0006 for the 10-quart Raven, 10-0197 for the 6-quart Raven and the Hipster.

  • HEPA Paper Bags. The bag the HEPA Raven and HEPA Hipster ship with. It works with the machine's HEPA filtration to keep fine dust inside, so use it whenever the job calls for HEPA. Part 10-0006-HEPA (10-quart) or 10-0197-HEPA (6-quart and Hipster).

  • Washable Cloth Bag. The reusable outer bag. Shake it out at the end of the shift and replace it when it's torn or won't come clean. Part 10-0007-10 (10-quart) or 10-0007-6 (6-quart and Hipster).

The 10-quart and 6-quart bags aren't interchangeable, so choose the machine you own. Not sure? The model number is on the label on the back of the vacuum: 20- is a 10-quart Raven, 70- a 6-quart Raven, 30- a Hipster.

How many bags are in a pack?

Ten paper or HEPA bags per pack. Choose 3 or 5 packs if you run several machines. The cloth bag is sold one at a time.

Do I need the paper bag and the cloth bag?

Yes. The paper bag goes inside the cloth bag. The cloth bag stays in the machine and gets shaken out; the paper bag is thrown away when full.

Which bags fit the 6-quart Raven and the Hipster?

Both use the same bags: 10-0197 paper bags, 10-0197-HEPA HEPA paper bags on the HEPA models, and the 10-0007-6 cloth bag. Choose Raven 6 Quart or Hipster above.

Which bag does a HEPA model use?

The HEPA paper bag: 10-0006-HEPA on the 10-quart HEPA Raven, 10-0197-HEPA on the 6-quart HEPA Raven and the HEPA Hipster. The Super, Whisper and Aviation models use the standard paper bag.

Do the 10-quart bags fit a 6-quart machine?

No. The 10-quart and 6-quart bags are different sizes. Check the model number on the back of the vacuum: 20- is a 10-quart Raven, 70- a 6-quart Raven, 30- a Hipster.
