On the dual motor Clarke CarpetMaster 212, 215 and 218, a separate 350 W motor turns the brush through a cog-style sealed belt that Clarke rates for 2 years without service. This is Nilfisk's genuine replacement kit for that drive.

As shown in Nilfisk's kit photo, it comes with one toothed drive belt plus the drive gear, washer and nut. It does not fit the single motor 112 or 115, which use kit 147 0905 500.


The Owner's Insights on the Belt Kit

The sealed belt on the 200 series is one of the reasons I like these machines: it's built to go a long time without attention. When the brush does stop turning, check the simple things first. The brush stops on purpose while you use the wand, and a jammed brush roll will trip the brush shut-off. Unlock the brush, pull it out and clear any string or hair.

If the brush spins freely by hand and still won't turn under power, the belt is the next suspect. Clarke's operator manual doesn't include belt replacement steps, so if you're not comfortable opening the base, a service shop can fit the kit. Send us your model and serial and we'll confirm the kit before you order.
