EDIC® 50 ft Twist-Lock Power Cord for Galaxy Carpet Extractors and Heat N Run Heater, 12/3 #B11769

The Galaxy's detachable power cord gets dragged through parking lots, pinched in van doors and run over by carts. When the jacket splits or a prong bends, this is the EDIC original: a 50 ft, 12/3 SJTW cord with a twist-lock connector that locks onto the machine's inlet so it can't pull loose mid-job, and a standard grounded plug for the wall.
It fits the Galaxy 2000 and Galaxy Pro extractors and the Heat N Run external heater. Heavy 12 gauge wire carries a Galaxy's full current over 50 feet without the voltage drop that cooks motors on a light household cord.

Two cords on some setups. The Galaxy Pro 2700FX runs on two cords, and a Galaxy with a Heat N Run heater uses a second cord for the heater. Each one needs its own circuit; an EDIC circuit locator finds two separate circuits before you plug in.

The Galaxy's inlet takes a twist-lock connector, which household cords don't have. A lighter gauge cord also drops voltage over 50 feet, which makes the motors run hot. This is the 12 gauge cord EDIC builds the machine around.
