EDIC 390AC: Turn Your Saturn Into a Shampooer and Scrubber


A floor machine without a solution tank means stopping to splash water or chemical on the floor every few passes. The EDIC 390AC mounts on the handle of your Saturn low speed, dual speed or heavy duty machine and feeds solution down to the brush or pad while you work, so you keep moving.

It holds 4 gallons, enough for a long run of carpet shampooing or floor scrubbing between refills, and a brass valve controlled from the handle lets you meter the flow: open it wide to flood a scrubbing pass, or barely crack it to keep a bonnet damp. EDIC can also install it when it builds a new Saturn.

What the Tank Lets You Do

  • Carpet shampooing: with a shampoo brush, the tank keeps a steady supply of shampoo solution at the brush so the carpet is worked evenly.

  • Floor scrubbing and stripping: with a scrub or strip pad on a Saturn pad driver, it lays down solution right where the pad is cutting.

  • Bonnet cleaning: a light flow keeps the bonnet evenly damp without overwetting the carpet.

Stripping a tough floor? Pair the tank with the 21 lb horseshoe weight kit for more down pressure. EDIC shows the two together on the Saturn.

Which machines does the 390AC fit?

EDIC's Saturn low speed, dual speed and heavy duty floor machines, 17 inch and 20 inch. It is not for the Saturn SV high speed burnisher. Send us your model number if you're not sure.

How does it feed solution?

The tank mounts on the handle, and a feed hose runs from the brass valve down to the machine. A lever at the handle opens the valve, so you can flood a scrubbing pass or just keep a bonnet damp.

Can I add it to a Saturn I already own?

Yes, it's sold as an add-on for Saturn machines, and EDIC can also install it when it builds a new one. If you're ordering a Saturn from us at the same time, tell us and we'll ask EDIC to fit it before shipping.

What can I put in it?

Water-based cleaning solutions mixed to the label rate: carpet shampoo, floor cleaner or stripper. Rinse it with clean water after each job so chemical doesn't dry in the valve.

Does it work with the horseshoe weights?

Yes. EDIC shows the tank and the 21 lb horseshoe weight kit together on the Saturn, a common setup for stripping.

What is the warranty?

EDIC's standard limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. Call or message us with your order number and we'll handle any claim with EDIC.
