EDIC® Upholstery Tool Kit for Supernova and Polaris, 15 ft Hose and Mesh Bag #358AC
(855) 601-5678 · support@oneupcleaning.com
The Supernova and Polaris clean open carpet with their own brush head. A lobby chair, a waiting room booth or the back seat of a fleet van needs a hand tool instead, and that's what this kit adds. The EDIC 358AC is EDIC's upholstery kit for these two machines: the 321ACH upholstery tool, a 15 ft vacuum and solution hose assembly and a nylon mesh bag to carry it.
You keep using the machine's own pump, vacuum and tanks. Swap the floor setup for the kit in about a minute, clean the furniture, and swap back for the carpet. No second machine to buy, store or maintain.

321ACH upholstery tool: black powder coated cast aluminum, 3.5 in wide, with an enclosed spray chamber that keeps overspray off the fabric around it and a round glass window so you see the soil lift. Recirculating notches keep water from pooling in the head, so fabric dries faster. Sold on its own for $262.
15 ft vacuum and solution hose assembly: 1.5 in vacuum hose with a high pressure solution line, made to connect to the Supernova and Polaris.
Nylon mesh carrying bag: keeps the coiled hose and tool together on the cart and in the van.

EDIC's Supernova and Polaris manual uses the same two steps for every accessory hose:
Vacuum: take the machine's 2 in hose adapter off the vacuum lid inlet and seat the kit's 1.5 in hose in its place.
Solution: pull back the sleeve on the machine's solution quick disconnect and push in the kit's solution line.
Clean with slow, overlapping strokes, squeezing the trigger on the push and releasing it for a dry pass on the pull. Watch the window: when the water runs clear, move on. Put the 2 in adapter back on the lid to return to floor cleaning.
Want carpet wands on the machine too? The 1041AC or 2541AC hose (from $168) runs the Glidemaster, Triton and stair wand.

The EDIC Supernova 800PSN and 1200PSN and the Polaris 701PS, 801PS and 1201PS. EDIC builds this kit for those self-contained machines. For the Fivestar and Comet, the matching kit is the 357AC. Galaxy and Bravo owners only need a hand tool on the hose they already have.
The 321ACH upholstery tool (black powder coated cast aluminum, about 3.5 in wide, enclosed spray chamber, glass viewing window), a 15 ft vacuum and solution hose assembly, and a nylon mesh carrying bag.
Not for upholstery. The 358AC has its own 15 ft hose assembly made for the Supernova and Polaris. Add the 1041AC or 2541AC hose if you also want to run a carpet wand or the stair wand from the machine.
EDIC's Supernova and Polaris manual describes accessory hoses the same way: remove the machine's 2 in hose adapter from the vacuum lid inlet and seat the 1-1/2 in accessory hose in its place, then pull back the sleeve on the machine's solution quick disconnect and push in the solution line. Put the 2 in adapter back to return to floor cleaning.
Yes. EDIC sells the 321ACH as an automotive detailing tool, and the 15 ft hose reaches the inside of a car or a few stair treads with the machine parked. EDIC rates the tool to 300 PSI, well above the Supernova's 85 psi and the Polaris's 120 psi pumps.
Yes. The 321ACH is sold on its own, for owners who already have a 1-1/2 in EDIC hose assembly.
EDIC's standard limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. Hoses and tools are wear items, so damage from use isn't covered. Call or message us with your order number and we'll handle any claim with EDIC.
