If you're moving a crew from uprights to backpacks, or you need a backpack for detail work, stairs and small rooms, the Pro-Lite keeps it simple. The Powr-Flite Pro-Lite BP4S weighs 10 lbs and is the most compact backpack in the Powr-Flite line, at 9.5 x 9 x 22.5 inches.
A 1,200 W, 10 amp motor gives it 94 inches of water lift and 100 cfm, and 4-stage filtration (paper bag, micro cloth bag, pre-motor filter and exhaust filter) holds 4 quarts. It comes with a 40 ft cord, a 4 ft hose, a double-bend wand, three tools and five bags, ready to work out of the box.
The BP4S is the backpack for a tight budget or a first backpack. It's light, it's small enough to stack in a closet, and it does the everyday jobs well: hallways, offices, stairs, elevators and the edges an upright misses. Bags and filters are inexpensive, which matters when you run several machines.
Three honest notes. It isn't a HEPA machine, so for clinics or allergy-sensitive buildings, step up to the BP6S. It's louder than the Comfort Pro models, rated at 71 dBA, which suits night cleaning better than daytime work. And the 4 quart bag fills faster on big routes.
10 lbs. Light enough for long shifts and for cleaners new to backpacks.
Compact and stackable. 9.5 x 9 x 22.5 inches, easy to store and carry between sites.
Adjustable harness. Fits the cleaner in a few seconds.
1,200 W, 94 inches of water lift and 100 cfm. Plenty for carpet and hard floors.
4-stage filtration. Paper bag, micro cloth bag, pre-motor filter and exhaust filter.
40 ft cord. Good reach from each outlet.
Ready out of the box. Hose, wand, three tools and five bags included.
A good fit: offices, hallways, elevators, stairs, cafes, lounges and small rooms, cleaning businesses adding their first backpack, and crews that need several machines on a budget.
Not the best fit: wet pickup of any kind, buildings that need HEPA filtration, daytime cleaning where noise matters, and long routes where a 6 or 10 quart bag saves trips.
