SPX Onboard Sprayer for Austrian CRB Machines (TM4, TM5, PRO 35, PRO 45)

Encapsulation usually means two trips over every room: one with a pump-up sprayer, one with the CRB (counter-rotating brush) machine. The SPX puts the sprayer on the machine, so your operator presses a trigger on the handle and the nozzle lays solution down just ahead of the brushes. Carpet Cleaner America says that cuts cleaning time by up to 50%, because the separate pre-spray pass is gone.
The SPX fits the Austrian TM4 and TM5, plus CCA's PRO 35 and PRO 45. It does not fit the 10-inch TM3. You can add it to a new machine or retrofit the TM4 or TM5 you already run.
No separate pre-spray pass, so one person sprays and brushes each section in a single walk across the room.
Trigger on the upper handle means your operator sprays only where the carpet needs it and keeps both hands on the machine.
A 110 degree fan nozzle spreads the solution across the brush path instead of soaking one stripe.
Up to 60 fl oz a minute at 55 psi is enough for traffic lanes, and the trigger lets you meter it so a low-moisture job stays low-moisture.
Made for encapsulation, the low-moisture method most offices and schools want because the carpet is back in use quickly.
The kit replaces your machine's upper handle with one that carries a red spray button and its power cord. It also includes the spray tank with its electric pump, hose and two rubber mounting brackets, the spray mount and the spray nozzle. The tank clamps to the handle uprights, so the weight sits over the machine rather than on your operator's arm.
Fill it with encapsulating prespray mixed at 10 oz per gallon of water for encapsulation, or 5 oz per gallon when you pre-spray ahead of dry carpet cleaning compound.
If your crew cleans large open carpet with encapsulation every week, yes. Taking a whole spraying pass off every job adds up fast. If you mostly run dry compound, or you clean small rooms and stairs with a TM3, a handheld sprayer still does the job, and the money is better spent on a spare set of brushes for your TM3, TM4 or TM5.
