EDIC 323ACH: Pre-Spray From Your Extractor's Pump, Not a Pump-Up Sprayer

A pump-up sprayer runs out of pressure halfway across a room, sprays unevenly, and wears out your wrist on a big job. The EDIC 323ACH pre-spray wand runs off the pump you already have: click its 25 ft solution hose onto your extractor and you lay prespray or traffic lane cleaner down at a steady, even rate for as long as the tank lasts.

The wand is brass, built for high heat and high pressure, so on a heated machine your prespray goes down hot and gets a head start on oily soil during dwell time. The hose ends in a standard 1/4 in female quick disconnect. The whole assembly weighs 3 lb, and EDIC covers it for 1 year parts and labor.

How to Pre-Spray With Your Extractor

  • Mix: fill the solution tank with your prespray at its labeled dilution.

  • Connect: click the wand's quick disconnect onto the machine's solution connection in place of your carpet wand's solution line.

  • Spray: work from the far wall toward the door in overlapping passes, heavier on traffic lanes and spots.

  • Dwell, then extract: empty the remaining prespray, refill with your rinse, reconnect your carpet wand and extract the area.

EDIC lists the 323ACH as an accessory for the Galaxy 5, Galaxy 2000, Galaxy Pro, Supernova, Polaris and Bravo. For the extraction step, pair it with a Glidemaster or Triton carpet wand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a pre-spray wand do?

It lays prespray or traffic lane cleaner down on the carpet before you extract, using your extractor's pump instead of a pump-up sprayer. You get a steady, even spray across a whole room without stopping to pump, and on a heated machine the prespray goes down hot, which helps it break down oily soil during dwell time.

How does it connect?

The 25 ft hose ends in a standard 1/4 in female quick disconnect (EDIC part A00102), so it clicks onto a male solution quick connect. Message us your machine's model and we'll confirm the connection, or tell you if you need one of EDIC's quick disconnect adapters.

Which machines can use it?

EDIC lists it as an accessory for the Galaxy 5, Galaxy 2000 and Galaxy Pro, the Supernova and Polaris, and the Bravo. EDIC also uses a 35 ft version in its PTAC cleaning kit.

What goes in the solution tank?

The wand sprays whatever your machine's pump is pushing, so mix the solution tank for prespraying, treat the area, then empty it and refill with your extraction rinse. Many cleaners pre-spray a whole job first, then switch the tank over and extract.

Can it handle heat and pressure?

Yes. EDIC sells it as a high heat, high pressure wand, and dealers list it at up to 1000 PSI for heated and unheated extractors.

What is the warranty?

EDIC's product page lists 1 year parts and labor on the 323ACH. Call or message us with your order number and we'll handle any claim with EDIC.
