The new tenant wants the office carpet saved, not replaced, and nobody has extracted it in three years. Traffic lanes, coffee spills, a gray patch at every desk. That's a job for pressure. The Sandia Sniper 12-gallon 500 PSI carpet extractor flushes soil out from the base of the pile, and the 12-gallon tanks keep you working across a whole suite before you dump and refill.
Every model runs an adjustable 500 PSI pump and two vacuum motors, either dual 2-stage (80-2500) or dual 3-stage (80-3500). Add the 2,000 W in-line heater (the -H models) and you extract with solution up to 200°F, according to Sandia.
It's the top of the 12-gallon Sniper line, built for restorative cleaning by contract cleaners and in-house crews: neglected carpet, restaurant and bar floors, heavy traffic lanes. It ships machine only, so pick the hose and wand package below if you don't already own them.
Two choices decide the model: the vacuum motors and the heater. The tanks, the 500 PSI pump, the 10-inch wheels and the body are the same on all four.
Dual 2-stage or dual 3-stage vacuum motors. Both versions run two motors side by side. The 3-stage motors add a third fan stage, which means stronger suction on long hose runs and thick, wet carpet. At 500 PSI you can put down a lot of water fast, so strong recovery is what keeps dry times reasonable, and here the 3-stage upgrade is the smallest step in the Sniper line. The 2-stage 80-2500 is the only model that runs on a single 25-foot cord. The dual 3-stage 80-3500 needs two cords on two separate circuits. Sandia rates the series at up to 205 inches of water lift.
Heat or no heat. Hot solution loosens greasy soil and body oils that cold water leaves behind, which matters on traffic lanes, entry mats and restaurant carpet. The in-line heater warms the solution on its way to the wand, so the tank stays at tap temperature. Heated models use two 25-foot cords, one of them dedicated to the heater, and each cord needs its own 20 A circuit.

The step from dual 2-stage to dual 3-stage costs $170, and adding the heater costs about $760. Not sure which fits your building? Call (855) 601-5678 or message us with your carpet type, square footage and outlets, and we'll tell you.
Sandia builds the 12-gallon Sniper with four pump sizes. The body, tanks, vacuum motors and heater option stay the same; the pump decides how hard the machine can push solution into the carpet. Sandia lists every pump above 100 PSI as adjustable.

If your jobs are mostly heavy soil rather than full restoration, the 300 PSI 80-2300 costs $360 less than the 80-2500 on this page. If you clean many kinds of carpet with one machine, the 500 gives you the most range, because you can always turn it down.
Sandia ships the Sniper as a machine only: tanks, pump, motors and the 25-foot power cord or cords. Hoses and tools are sold separately, so check this list before you order.

Hoses and carpet wand (needed). The Sandia 80-0500 kit gives you a 25-foot vacuum hose, a 25-foot solution hose with quick disconnects and a stainless dual jet wand, the kit Sandia pairs with all its 12-gallon Snipers. Choose "With 25 ft Hose and Wand Kit" above and you save $100 against buying the kit separately at $560. Need to reach farther from the outlet? The kit also comes with 50-foot hoses.

Upholstery and stair tool (optional). For chairs, booths, stair treads and car interiors, add the Sandia 10-0501 stainless hand tool ($186). Sandia lists this stainless tool as required for machines with heat, so it's the one to pair with the -H models. Turn the pressure well down for fabric.
You'll also want a low-foam extraction chemical, a defoamer for the recovery tank and a pre-spray for heavy soil. Sandia warns against powdered detergents, citrus acid and harsh degreasers in this machine.
The 500 PSI Sniper is the one for people who get paid to save carpet. Same recessed waist-high controls and 10-inch stair-climbing wheels as the rest of the 12-gallon line, with the most pressure Sandia puts in a 12-gallon carpet extractor.
The adjustable pump is what makes it practical as an only machine. Turn it down for a quick maintenance job, run it up for the neglected break room, and keep one extractor in the van instead of two.
The honest part: 500 PSI puts a lot of water into carpet if you're careless, so make slow, overlapping dry passes, and pick the dual 3-stage motors for thick carpet. The heated models need two separate 20 A circuits. Map your outlets before you buy one.
Adjustable 500 PSI pump. The most pressure in the 12-gallon Sniper line for restorative work, and it turns down for lighter jobs.
12-gallon solution and recovery tanks. Fewer trips to fill and dump, so more of the shift goes into actual cleaning.
Two vacuum motors on every model. Up to 205 inches of water lift, per Sandia, pulls more water out, so carpet dries and goes back into use sooner.
Optional 2,000 W in-line heater. Solution up to 200°F, per Sandia, breaks down oily traffic-lane soil that cold water leaves behind.
Recessed waist-high controls. Protected in transport and storage, and easy to reach without stooping.
Roto-molded polyethylene body. Resists dents, chips and cracks, with a lifetime body warranty and 2 years on the pump, per Sandia's product page.
We sell all of these, so here's a straight comparison with the portable 500 PSI extractors buyers usually cross-shop.

The Sniper is the lowest starting price for 500 PSI here, with two vacuum motors on every model and heat only if you want it (the heated 80-2500-H is $4,418). The Tornado Surge 500 costs $640 more but comes heated with its hose and wand. The Powr-Flite Pulsar Delta+ matches the two-motor setup with bigger tanks and built-in heat. The Tornado Pro 500 recycles its solution, so one tank lasts much longer on big jobs. See every option in our carpet extractors collection.
Sandia ships the machine with RV antifreeze in the lines, so the first job is flushing clean water through the wand. Fill the solution tank with water under 100°F, as Sandia's manual says. Hot fill water can damage the pump and void the warranty, and on heated models the in-line heater does the heating for you.
Pre-spray and agitate heavy soil, give the chemical about 10 minutes, then extract. Start at a lower pressure and raise it only as far as the soil needs, because more pressure means more water in the carpet. Use low-foam chemicals and keep defoamer in the recovery tank. After each job, empty and rinse both tanks, clean the filters and store the machine with the lids off. Sandia's 500 PSI manual recommends running diluted vinegar through the lines every two weeks to keep minerals from building up, and winterizing with RV antifreeze, because freeze damage isn't covered.
Sandia can factory-install auto-fill and auto-dump on new 12-gallon Snipers. It has to be built in before the machine ships, so ask us for a quote before you order.
Sandia machines come from Ultimate Solutions in Huntington Beach, California, and Sandia shows the 12-gallon Sniper as manufactured in the US. The roto-molded bodies carry a lifetime warranty, Sandia's product page lists 2 years on the vacuum motors and the 500 PSI pump, and Sandia sells the replacement pumps, motors and heater parts through its distributor network.
