EDIC® See-Through Upholstery Tool, 4" Clear Plastic Head, Stainless Handle #1037AC
(855) 601-5678 · support@oneupcleaning.com
The EDIC 1037AC has a clear plastic head, 4 in wide, on a 1.5 in stainless steel handle. The whole head is see-through, so you watch the soil come out of the fabric on every stroke and stop when the water runs clean. At 1.3 lb and 8 in long it's the lightest and least expensive upholstery tool EDIC makes.
It's the right tool for occasional spotting: a stained office chair, a church pew cushion, a sofa arm. It plugs into a 1.5 in vacuum hose with a quick disconnect solution line, like EDIC's other hand tools.

EDIC's product summary rates the 1037AC at 100 PSI, and dealers sell it as a tool for unheated machines only because of its plastic head. That makes it a good match for:
The unheated Bravo spotter (55 psi).
The Fivestar and Comet on the 341AC hose (85 psi).
The Supernova on an accessory hose (85 psi) and the Galaxy 2000SX (100 psi) with no heater running.
Cleaning hot, or above 100 PSI? Choose the 321ACH ($262, 300 PSI, glass window) or the 1039-9502FB stainless tool ($128, 1000 PSI).

Use it at 100 PSI or less with unheated solution. EDIC's product summary rates the 1037AC at 100 PSI (a line further down its page says 1000 PSI), and dealers list it at 0 to 100 PSI and not for heated machines because of its plastic head. If you clean hot or above 100 PSI, take the 321ACH (300 PSI) or the 1039-9502FB stainless tool (1000 PSI).
Low pressure machines running cold: the unheated Bravo (300MH, 300MH-K, 55 psi), the Fivestar and Comet on the 341AC hose (85 psi), the Supernova on an accessory hose (85 psi) and the Galaxy 2000SX (100 psi) without a heater. It is not for the heated Bravo, the heated Galaxy automotive extractors or any machine with a Heat N Run heater running. The Galaxy 5 and Polaris pumps run at 120 psi, above its rating.
No. It has a 1.5 in vacuum connection and a quick disconnect solution connection and plugs into the hose assembly you already have.
The 1037AC's whole head is clear, 4 in wide, and it's the least expensive EDIC upholstery tool. The 321ACH is cast aluminum with a glass window, an enclosed spray chamber and a 300 PSI rating, so it handles more pressure and takes more knocks.
Flush clean water through the tool for a few seconds after each job so chemical doesn't dry in the jet, and store it where the clear head won't be crushed or scratched. A scratched head still cleans; you just see less.
EDIC's standard limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. Tools are wear items, so damage from use or heat isn't covered. Call or message us with your order number and we'll handle any claim with EDIC.
