If you already own EDIC 1.5-inch tools, a stair wand or an upholstery tool from another EDIC machine, or you're replacing a hose that finally split, this is the part you need and nothing more. The EDIC 341AC hose assembly is the vacuum and solution hose that lets a Fivestar or Comet run a hand tool or wand instead of its built-in brush head. It comes in 8 ft (341AC) and 15 ft (341AC-15), with a crush-resistant vacuum hose, the cuff that fits the machine's lid, and a solution line with the quick-connect for the port on the back.
No tool is included. If you don't have one yet, buy the complete kit instead: the 357AC upholstery tool kit adds the 321ACH detail tool and a mesh bag for $214 more than this 8 ft hose alone, and the 330AC-CM kit adds the 10-inch stainless steel carpet wand to the 15 ft hose.

Care: rinse the solution line with clean water after each job so detergent doesn't crystallize in the quick-connect, coil the hose loosely, and hang it to dry. A shot of silicone spray on the quick-connect keeps it from sticking.

No. The 341AC and 341AC-15 are the hose assembly only, for owners who already have an EDIC 1.5 inch upholstery tool, stair tool or wand. If you need the tool too, the 357AC upholstery kit or the 330AC-CM wand kit includes the hose.
The EDIC Fivestar 401TR and 411TR and the EDIC Comet 419TR. The cuff fits their lid port and the solution line fits the quick-connect on the back of the machine.
EDIC 1.5 inch accessories: the 321ACH detail tool from the Fivestar kit, and EDIC's stainless upholstery tool, crevice tool and 10 inch wand. If you have a tool from another brand, check that it takes a 1.5 inch cuff before ordering.
8 ft is enough for a sofa, a row of chairs or a straight flight of stairs with the machine beside the work, and it stores more neatly. 15 ft lets the machine stay put while you reach a full row of seats, every seat in a car, or a turning staircase, for $15 more.
EDIC's standard limited warranty covers manufacturing defects, but hoses are listed as wear items, so a hose that cracks from being run over or stored kinked isn't covered. Rinse it, coil it loosely and hang it to dry and it will last for years.
