A self-contained extractor cleans open floor beautifully and then stops at the closet door, the stair landing and the gap between the desk and the wall. The EDIC 330AC-CM kit is how a Fivestar or Comet finishes those spots. It pairs a 15 ft vacuum and solution hose assembly with EDIC's 330-11003FB 10-inch single-jet stainless steel carpet wand, the same Glidemaster-family wand EDIC ships with the Bravo heated kit and the Galaxy 1530ACK.

Connect the hoses to the lid and the solution port in place of the machine's own, set the switch to the upholstery (hose) position, and the machine becomes a small portable extractor: park it in the hallway and clean every stair tread, or leave it in the doorway and do the whole walk-in closet. The wand's single high-pressure jet and narrow 10-inch head suit exactly those tight spaces, and stainless steel means it will outlast the machine.

EDIC makes this kit for the Fivestar and Comet only. For upholstery and car seats, the 357AC upholstery tool kit is the one to buy; many owners end up with both, sharing a machine.

Three ways to add reach to a Fivestar or Comet:

  • 330AC-CM, this kit ($324): 15 ft hose plus the 10-inch carpet wand. For carpet the machine can't drive into.

  • 357AC / 357AC-CM (from $307): 8 or 15 ft hose plus the 321ACH upholstery tool and a mesh bag. For chairs, sofas, stairs and car seats.

  • 341AC / 341AC-15 (from $93): the hose on its own, for owners who already have EDIC 1.5-inch tools.

After each job, run clean water through the wand for a minute to flush detergent out of the jet, rinse the hose, and hang it to dry. If the trigger valve or the quick-connect starts to stick, a shot of silicone spray frees it.

Which machines does the 330AC-CM fit?

The EDIC Fivestar (401TR and 411TR) and the EDIC Comet 419TR. The hose cuff and solution quick-connect match those two machines; it is not made for the Bravo, Galaxy, Polaris or Supernova.

Which wand is in the kit?

EDIC's 330-11003FB, a 10 inch single-jet stainless steel carpet wand from the Glidemaster family. It's the same wand EDIC includes in the Bravo heated full kit and the Galaxy 1530ACK hose and wand kit.

How do I use it with the machine?

Disconnect the vacuum hose from the lid and the solution line from the back of the machine, connect the kit's hoses in their place, and set the switch to the upholstery position so the pump and vacuum run without the brush. Spray on the forward stroke with the trigger, then pull back over the same path to recover.

Do I need this kit or the upholstery kit?

This kit for carpet the machine can't reach: stairs, closets, landings, under furniture. The 357AC upholstery kit for chairs, sofas and vehicle seats. Both use the same hose connections, so many owners keep both and swap tools on the same machine.

Can I buy the hose without the wand?

Yes. The 341AC-15 is the 15 ft hose assembly on its own, and the 341AC is an 8 ft version, for owners who already have EDIC 1.5 inch wands and tools.
