EDIC® CR2 Carpet Cleaning Kit, Heat N Run Heater with Glidemaster or Triton Wand #705HR-GK / #705HR-TK
(855) 601-5678 · support@oneupcleaning.com
A CR2 already has what a portable carpet extractor needs: an adjustable 550 PSI pump, a 3-stage vacuum with 138 inches of water lift, a 50 ft solution line and a 45 ft vacuum hose. What it's missing is a carpet wand and hot water. These two EDIC kits add both.
Each kit pairs a carpet wand with EDIC's 2000 watt Heat N Run external heater, a circuit sensor and a mesh bag. Choose the 705HR-GK with the stainless steel Glidemaster wand and a Teflon wand glide, or the 705HR-TK with the lightweight Triton wand.
Your CR2 then cleans restrooms in the morning and carpeted offices, hallways and break rooms in the afternoon, so one machine covers both jobs.

Classic stainless steel wand with a 12 inch head, two spray jets and a double bend, jetted for high pressure machines up to 500 PSI.
Teflon wand glide included, so the head slides over carpet instead of dragging.
The lower cost kit, and plenty for in-house crews that clean carpet a few times a week. See the Glidemaster wand on its own.

About 6.5 lb, lighter than the stainless Glidemaster, with a foam-cushioned grip that's easier on wrists and shoulders over a long shift.
UHMW glide shoe built in and a clip-off spray manifold you can clean without tools.
Built for crews that clean carpet for hours at a time. See the Triton wand on its own.
1. Mount the heater: hang the Heat N Run on the CR2 and connect its inlet hose to the machine's solution outlet, then your solution line to the heater.
2. Connect the wand to the CR2's solution line and vacuum hose.
3. Use two circuits: the heater draws about 16.6 amps, so it needs its own circuit. Plug the circuit sensor in to confirm two outlets aren't on the same breaker before you plug in the CR2 and the heater.
4. Set the pressure: keep the CR2's pump at 500 PSI or less with the heater connected. Fill with clean water and let the pump prime.
5. Prespray: the CR2's chemical system doesn't meter chemical in carpet mode, so apply your carpet chemical with a prespray.

Buying a new CR2? The Restroom & Carpet bundle (2700RC-CK) adds a stainless double bend carpet wand and a 25 ft hose assembly for $388 more than the restroom system, but no heater. If you want hot water extraction, a restroom CR2 plus one of these kits gives you the heater, the circuit sensor and your choice of wand.
Already own a heat-ready carpet extractor? The Heat N Run heater ($778) is sold on its own too.

Yes. EDIC's CR2 Jr manual walks through connecting an accessory heater and carpet wand, and the Jr has the same 550 PSI pump and vacuum as the 17 gallon CR2. Keep in mind the Jr's own cord is 25 ft, and the heater still needs a second circuit.
No. The wand connects to the CR2's 50 ft solution line and 45 ft vacuum hose, the same hoses you use for restrooms, and the heater sits between the machine's solution outlet and the solution line.
The 705HR-GK's stainless Glidemaster is the classic, lower cost wand and comes with a Teflon glide. The 705HR-TK's Triton is lighter at about 6.5 lb, has its glide shoe built in and a tool-free spray manifold, and pays back if you clean carpet for hours at a time. Both have two spray jets.
The 2000 watt heater draws about 16.6 amps, and the CR2 draws 14.5 amps, so together they would trip a single breaker. Plug the heater into a different circuit than the machine. The circuit sensor in the kit helps you find outlets that are on separate circuits before you start; spares are sold as the EDIC circuit locator.
With the Heat N Run connected, keep the CR2's pump at 500 PSI or less, which is the heater's limit. The kit wands are jetted for high pressure machines in that range.
No. EDIC notes that the CR2's chemical dispensing system doesn't apply chemical in carpet mode. Set the valve to rinse and use a prespray or your usual carpet chemical method.
The 2700RC-CK bundle adds a stainless carpet wand and a 25 ft hose assembly to a new CR2, without a heater. These kits add a wand and the Heat N Run heater, which speeds up cleaning and drying. If you already own a CR2, or want hot water, choose a kit. Already have the 2700RC-CK? A kit still adds the heater and circuit sensor.
EDIC covers the Heat N Run heater for 5 years parts and labor, with a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel heater tank and housing. The Glidemaster and Triton wands carry EDIC's standard limited warranty. Call or message us with your order number and we'll handle any claim with EDIC.
