TriTex is NaceCare's standard 12-inch primary filter, and one part number covers a lot of machines: the James JVP 180, both ProSave canisters, the TEL 390, the cordless WVB 370NX and the George. It also fits the Henry PPR 240 and ProVac PPR 390.
The filter sits on the drum under the motor head and is made from three layers of filter media, which is where the name comes from. It's what keeps fine dust from blowing back into the room out of the exhaust.
When a canister loses suction with an empty bag, the filter is almost always why. Tap it out over a trash can between changes, and replace it when it's torn, matted or stays grey after cleaning.
On the WVB 370NX and George, use the filter for dry vacuuming. The manuals call for a filter at all times when you're picking up dry debris. Keep a spare on hand so you never run a wet filter while the other one dries.
The RSV 150 and RBV 150NX backpacks take a different TriTex, 910915. Not sure which you need? Send us your model and we'll confirm.
