The Owner's Insights on the WVB 370NX
I think of the WVB 370NX as the spill kit on wheels. At about 20 lbs it lifts into a cart or up a short flight of stairs with one hand, and the NX300 battery clicks in on top, so there's nothing to plug in when a call comes over the radio.
Be honest with yourself about the job, though. 2.4 gallons is a spill, a leaking ice machine or a shower floor, not a flooded basement. For standing water across a whole room, a corded vac like the 6-gallon CV 570 or a pumper does it faster. And at 79 dB(A) it's not a quiet machine; you'll hear it in a lobby. Most spill calls take a few minutes, so one battery covers a day of them. Take two if the vac also does a dry vacuuming route, or if you share the battery with another NX machine.

Can the WVB 370NX pick up both water and dry debris?
Yes. It handles spills and leaks as well as dust and tracked-in dirt. The owner manual calls for the HepaFlo bag and TriTex filter whenever you vacuum dry, and says to switch the machine off and remove the battery before you convert it between wet and dry use.
How much water does it hold?
2.4 gallons of liquid or 4 gallons of dry debris, per NaceCare's spec sheet. When the tank is full of water, the float valve shuts off suction and the motor pitch changes, so you know to empty it.
How do I empty it?
Lift off the power head and pour the liquid out of the tank. Rinse the tank and dry it before storage, and check the float valve regularly.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 40 minutes on one NX300 battery. It charges to 80% in 1 hour and 100% in 2, and NaceCare rates it at up to 2,500 charge cycles.
Does it use the same battery as my other NaceCare machines?
Yes. The NX300 (913686) also runs the CTB 370NX spotter, the NBV 240NX and 290NX canisters, the RBV 150NX backpack and the 220NX, 440NX, TGB 516NX and TGB 817NX scrubbers.
What comes in the A11 kit?
