These are the genuine Nilfisk paper dust bags for the Clarke Comfort Pak backpack vacuum. Each size of Comfort Pak takes its own bag, so pick the kit that matches your machine: 147 1098 510 with 5 L bags for the Comfort Pak 6, or 147 1097 510 with 10 L bags for the Comfort Pak 10.

Every kit holds 10 paper bags, and the Comfort Pak 10 kit also comes with 2 round pre-filters. The bags seal themselves: peel the paper off the cardboard collar, fold it over, and the full bag comes out closed.


Comfort Pak 6 or Comfort Pak 10?

The bags don't swap between sizes. Each Comfort Pak has its own container, lid and main filter, and the bag is sized to match: 5 L (1.3 gal) for the 6, 10 L (2.6 gal) for the 10.

Not sure which one you have? Look for the model number on your invoice or the machine's label: the Comfort Pak 6 is 906 0610 010 and the Comfort Pak 10 is 906 0707 010. Side by side, the 10 is the taller one, 22.9 inches against 22.4, and the heavier one, 10.8 lbs against 9.3 without the cord.


Changing the Bag

Change the bag when suction drops, and check it often so it never overfills. Unplug the vacuum, release the latches on the top lid and lift the lid off. Take hold of the cardboard collar and lift the bag straight out, then peel off the protective paper and fold the collar to seal it. Slide a new bag into place against the main filter, refit the lid and close the latches.

A bag change is also the time to shake out the main filter, or replace it if it won't come clean. Nilfisk says to do both together, and warns that non-genuine bags and filters can restrict airflow enough to overload the motor.
