MotorScrubber JET3 Handheld Floor Scrubber with Built-In Spray

The MotorScrubber JET3 is a cordless handheld scrubber for the spots a floor machine can't reach: grout lines, stair treads, baseboards, shower walls, under counters and around toilets. The battery rides in a backpack, so the scrubbing head weighs only 5.5 lb, and a trigger on the handle sprays solution from a 1 liter bottle in the pack right where the brush is working.

Its M10 motor spins at 10,000 rpm and is geared down to 360 rpm at the brush. MotorScrubber rates it to keep turning above 200 rpm with 15.4 lb of pressure on the head, so you can lean into stubborn grout without stalling it. MotorScrubber rates the JET3 at up to 4x faster than scrubbing by hand.

The telescopic handle adjusts from 27.6 to 55.1 inches, and the head pivots to clean under objects as low as 8 inches and walls up to 9.8 feet high. MotorScrubber rates the head as 100% waterproof and fully submersible.

Don't need the built-in spray? The MotorScrubber M3 has the same 360 rpm motor and 7.1 inch brush, with a lighter backpack and a choice of three handle lengths.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the JET3 and the M3?

The JET3 adds built-in spray: a 1 liter bottle and pump in its 8.4 lb backpack, with a trigger on the handle. It comes with one telescopic handle (27.6 to 55.1 in). The M3 has the same 360 rpm motor and 7.1 inch brush without the spray, a lighter backpack and a choice of short, medium or long handle, from $762.84.

Does the JET3 pick up dirty water?

No. It scrubs and sprays. Pick up the slurry with a wet vac, mop or squeegee. To scrub and recover water in one pass, see our compact floor scrubbers.

How long does the battery last?

MotorScrubber rates the 12 V 7 Ah battery at up to 3.5 hours per charge; plan on 2 to 3.5 hours depending on the brush and how hard you press. A full recharge takes up to 4 hours. A quick-change spare battery ($60.16) keeps you working while the other one charges, and the SAE to DC adaptor ($6.91) lets the charger top up the spare outside the backpack.

Can I clean walls with it?

Yes. With the telescopic handle the JET3 reaches walls up to 9.8 feet high, per MotorScrubber, and the pivoting head gets under objects as low as 8 inches.

Which brush or pad should I use?

The medium duty brush handles most tile, grout and textured floors. The included pads cover lighter scrubbing, polishing and buffing, and the microfiber pad suits smooth surfaces. MotorScrubber also makes a tile and grout brush, an aggressive duty brush, a stair brush, a delicate brush, a flagged tipped brush and melamine pads for the JET3. The Which Brush for Which Floor table above shows what MotorScrubber recommends each one for.

What's in the No Backpack or Charger package?

The JET3 machine, a medium duty brush, a pad holder, a microfiber pad and three scrub pads. It has no backpack, bottle, pump or charger, so it runs off a JET3 battery backpack you already own.

Is the JET3 waterproof?

MotorScrubber rates the scrubbing head as 100% waterproof and fully submersible, which is why it's used around pools and in showers. Keep the charger dry.

What warranty does the JET3 have?

MotorScrubber covers the JET3 for 1 year, extended to 3 years when you register the machine with its serial number on MotorScrubber's site.
