Every one of the EDIC Atlas backpack vacuum's four filtration stages is a part you'll replace eventually, and the disposable bag is one you'll buy over and over. This page has all of them for both sizes: Ultrastat disposable bags, washable cloth filters, the standard dome filter and the HEPA dome filter for the 10 qt. All are genuine EDIC parts.
Not sure which size you have? The 6 qt Atlas is part 600TV (formerly 601TV) and stands 23.5 in tall; the 10 qt is part 1000TV (formerly 1001TV) and stands 25 in tall. The part number is on the serial label on the base.
| Part | 6 qt Atlas (600TV) | 10 qt Atlas (1000TV) | When to replace |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ultrastat disposable bags, 5 pack | L12005 ($15) | L12007 ($17) | When full; check at the start and end of every shift |
| Cloth filter | L12009 ($25) | L12010 ($27) | Wash monthly; replace when worn or it no longer comes clean |
| Dome filter | K12019 ($15), fits both sizes | Clean weekly; replace when it stays clogged | |
| HEPA dome filter | Not listed for the 6 qt | K14830 ($58) | Shake out gently, never wash; replace when airflow drops |
Airflow that holds up. The 3-ply synthetic media keeps air moving as the bag fills, so suction stays strong until the bag is actually full.
A seal that stays sealed. A rigid plastic rim seats the bag in the Atlas, and the seams are sonically welded rather than glued.
Antimicrobial treated, and required for the EDIC warranty, which calls for EDIC replacement parts.
Take off the top cap, lift the cloth filter and the disposable bag out together so a full bag can't tear, swap the bag, check that the dome filter is seated, and drop the cloth filter back in. Never run the Atlas with a disposable bag and no cloth filter around it.

Check the size on your vacuum: the 6 qt Atlas (600TV, formerly 601TV) takes L12005 bags and the L12009 cloth filter; the 10 qt Atlas (1000TV, formerly 1001TV) takes L12007 bags and the L12010 cloth filter. The dome filter K12019 fits both. The 10 qt is the taller of the two, at 25 in against 23.5 in.
They're EDIC's current part numbers for the Atlas Ultrastat disposable bag 5-packs. Older manuals list L12004 (6 qt) and L12006 (10 qt); EDIC's current price list carries L12005 and L12007 for the same 6 qt and 10 qt machines.
Yes. EDIC says never to run a disposable bag without the cloth filter around it. The cloth filter holds the bag's shape and is a filtration stage of its own. Lift both out together when you change the bag so a full bag doesn't tear.
Disposable bags: check every time you start and finish, and replace when full, roughly every couple of hours on long jobs. Cloth filter: wash it by hand or machine once a month and line dry it, never in a dryer; replace it when it's worn or no longer comes clean. Dome filter: clean it weekly and replace it when it stays clogged. Don't wash or vacuum the HEPA dome filter, which breaks the media; shake it out gently instead.
Both sit under the bag and cloth filter as the third filtration stage. The K12019 is EDIC's standard dome filter for both Atlas sizes. The K14830 is EDIC's dome filter with HEPA media for the 10 qt Atlas, for finer dust capture in schools, healthcare and offices with allergy concerns.
They're made for the EDIC Atlas. Some generic bags are sold as Atlas compatible, but the genuine Ultrastat bag has a molded plastic rim that seals in the Atlas and sonically welded seams, and EDIC's warranty requires EDIC replacement parts.
