NaceCare JS 1600C Commercial Steam Cleaner, 338°F Continuous Flow Vapor Steamer
(855) 601-5678 · support@oneupcleaning.com
The kitchen closes at 10, and the hood, the fryer walls and the grout behind the dish station are coated again. Degreaser works, but then you're rinsing chemical off food prep areas and waiting for it to dry. The NaceCare JS 1600C commercial steam cleaner turns water into dry vapor at 338°F and 115 psi, hot enough to melt grease, lift mold out of shower grout and sanitize surfaces without a drop of chemical.
Its continuous flow system lets you top off the 1-gallon reservoir while the machine runs, so the steam never stops for a refill. It weighs 12 lbs with a carry handle, plugs into a standard 120-volt outlet at 1,500 watts, and runs at 62 dB(A), about as loud as normal conversation.
Steam is what I recommend when chemicals are the problem: commercial kitchens, food processing, patient rooms, hotel bathrooms and gym showers. The JS 1600C is a real commercial steamer with a stainless steel boiler, built in Italy by Tecnovap, not a household steam mop. Put the small nylon, brass or stainless brush on the steam lance and it gets into grout lines, drains and stovetop seams that a mop never reaches.
The honest part: it isn't fast on big open floors. A lance and a small brush take time, and even with the steam mop this is a detail and sanitizing machine, not a replacement for your auto scrubber. Use softened water, and drain the boiler when the display shows CALC, about every 20 working hours, or scale builds up. If you need speed over large floors, look at a scrubber. If you need things clean and sanitized with no chemical residue, this is the machine.
338°F dry steam at 115 psi. Melts grease and lifts mold and grime while leaving surfaces nearly dry.
Continuous flow. Refill the 1-gallon reservoir without shutting down or waiting for the boiler to reheat.
Standard 120 V outlet. 1,500 watts of heating power with no special circuit or plug.
Built-in safety. 12 V waterproof switches, a pressure switch, a high-limit thermal shutoff, a low water alert and an automatic shutoff after 60 minutes idle.
Digital display. Shows boiler pressure or temperature and counts working hours so you know when to descale.
Room to grow. Add the vapor cart, the steam mop with 33-foot hose, or the Steam-X bed bug steam gun.
Every JS 1600C comes with its steam hose and jet steam kit of brushes and tools. Tap a picture to see each package up close.

Steamer only. $1,995. The right pick for detail work you carry from room to room: kitchens, showers, grout, upholstery.

With vapor cart (CR40025). Adds $429. The steamer rides on casters with a top and bottom wire basket for brushes, cloths and the water bottle. Worth it when one operator steams a whole floor of rooms.

With steam mop and 33-foot hose (7000005V2). Adds $595. A stand-up handle and mop head on a long hose, for steaming restroom, kitchen and locker room floors without bending over.

With cart and steam mop. Adds $1,024. The full setup for a crew that steams floors and fixtures every day.
Treating mattresses for bed bugs? The NaceCare Steam-X bed bug steam gun plugs into this steamer and super-heats its steam to 226°F. It's $849 on its own.
Tile and grout. Steam the grout lines with the lance and a small brush, then wipe the floor with the rectangular brush wrapped in a cloth, which acts as a dirt extractor. The manual suggests working about 54 square feet (5 square meters) at a time so the dirt doesn't dry back on.
Kitchens and food prep. Range hoods, fryers, stainless counters and dish areas, with no chemical to rinse off afterward.
Restrooms and showers. Fixtures, radiator gaps, drains and the mold that settles in shower grout. A steam plunger clears slow sink drains.
Hotel rooms and healthcare. Draperies, bedspreads, mattresses, upholstery, wheelchairs and patient areas. NaceCare says the steam kills bed bugs and their eggs on mattresses.
A few cautions from the owner manual: test a small spot first, keep contact short on marble and wood floors, use light pressure with the small brushes on porcelain, and vacuum carpet before you steam it.
The Tornado VS4 steam cleaner runs at 87 psi and costs $975 less. It's strong value for occasional detail cleaning. Choose the JS 1600C when steam is a daily job: 115 psi, a digital display with an hour counter, and add-ons like the steam mop, the vapor cart and the Steam-X bed bug gun. See both in our steam cleaners collection.

Softened water. The owner manual warns that other liquids can damage the steam generator or make it unsafe, so never add chemicals to the tank. Hard water builds scale faster.
338°F at up to 115 psi, per NaceCare's spec sheet. That's dry steam, so surfaces are left nearly dry.
About 5 minutes from a cold start until the steam ready light comes on, per the operating instructions.
Yes. The continuous flow system lets you top off the 1-gallon reservoir without turning the machine off. The boiler refills itself from the reservoir.
Yes, it's one of the best uses. Steam the grout lines with the lance and a small nylon or brass brush, then wipe the floor with the rectangular brush wrapped in a cloth. Work in small sections so loosened dirt doesn't dry back on.
NaceCare says the JS 1600C kills bed bugs and their eggs on mattresses. For dedicated bed bug treatment, the Steam-X bed bug steam gun plugs into this steamer and super-heats the steam to 226°F with a nozzle designed not to scatter the bugs.
Only in the packages that list them. The steamer-only option includes the steamer, steam hose and jet steam kit. Choose a package above to add the CR40025 vapor cart, the 7000005V2 steam mop with its 33-foot hose, or both.
Drain the boiler when the display shows CALC, about every 20 working hours, only after the machine has been off for at least 5 hours. Grease the accessory joints and o-rings now and then, and have the safety valves checked by an authorized service center every 2 years.
NaceCare's 2025 US warranty chart covers vapor cleaning machines for 1 year on parts and labor.
