The Right Pad for Every Job Your BOOST Deck Does

Your Clarke CA60 20B or 24B doesn't spin a round pad. Its BOOST deck moves a rectangular pad in tight orbits, so it needs rectangular pads cut to the deck: 14 x 20 inches for the 20B and 14 x 24 inches for the 24B. Round pads won't fit. These are Clarke's own BOOST pads, sold in cases of 5.

Fitting one takes seconds. Raise the deck, press the pad onto the gripper face of the BOOST pad driver, line it up with the edges of the deck and lower it again. No center lock, no tools.

Which Pad Color Do You Need?

Pad Job
Red, routine scrub Nightly scrubbing of finished floors. It's the pad Clarke lists in the CA60 parts manual, and the one to keep on the machine for everyday work.
Blue, heavy scrub Deeper scrubbing of heavily soiled floors, and scrubbing before a recoat.
Black, stripping Removing floor finish. Nilfisk says the BOOST models can remove finish with plain water.
White, polishing Light cleaning and polishing of soft finishes, where you want the gentlest touch.

Getting the Most From Each Pad

Rinse the pad after each shift, or flip it to use the other side when the first side loads up with dirt. A pad that's glazed or worn thin scrubs unevenly and should be replaced. Pads are wear items and aren't covered by Nilfisk's machine warranty.
