Tornado® Taskforce 10 Gallon Wet Dry Vacuum with Tool Kit - #94234

A mop bucket tips over in the break room, the floor machine leaves a slurry behind, or the shop floor needs a quick sweep of dust and debris. The Tornado Taskforce 10 is the smallest machine in Tornado's Taskforce wet dry line, built for exactly these everyday jobs.
It runs the same 1.6 HP, 1,200 W motor as its bigger Taskforce siblings, with 114 cfm of airflow and 90 inches of waterlift. The 10 gallon polyethylene tank won't dent or rust, a 30 ft cord and 10 ft crush-resistant hose give you reach, and at 29 lbs it's easy to roll and carry.
It comes ready to work with a full tool kit: 2-piece wand, hard floor tool, squeegee tool, dust brush and crevice tool.
This is the one I'd point you to when you want a commercial grade wet dry vac without paying for stainless steel or a 60 lb machine. Same motor and hose as the bigger Taskforce models, half the weight.
One number to know before you buy: the tank is 10 gallons, but Tornado rates its wet working capacity at 5 gallons. That's plenty for spills, mop water and scrubber slurry. If you're recovering a lot of water at once, the Taskforce 15 holds 10 gallons of liquid and the Taskforce 20 holds 15. Also, remember to take the cloth filter out before you pick up water, and put it back for dry debris.
1.6 HP motor, 114 cfm, 90" waterlift. Real commercial suction for water, scrubbing and stripping solutions, and dry debris.
Only 29 lbs. Built-in 7" non-scuff rear wheels and 3" swivel casters, and light enough to carry up a few steps.
Polyethylene tank. No dents, no rust, and Tornado backs the tank for 10 years.
Sound-insulated vacuum head. Quieter than a typical shop vac.
Washable filter. It comes off the float cage for rinsing and re-use, so no throwaway filters.
1.5" x 10 ft hose with swivel connector. 360 degree rotation, so the hose doesn't fight you as you move.
Complete tool kit. Wand, hard floor tool, squeegee, dust brush and crevice tool in the box.
Taskforce 10 or Taskforce 15? The Taskforce 15 has the same motor in an 18 gauge stainless steel tank with tilt and pour emptying, 10 gallons of wet capacity and an optional front mount squeegee. It weighs 52 lbs and costs $56 more.
Need a lot more water pickup? The Powr-Flite PF57 has two motors (192 cfm) and a 20 gallon stainless tank, for $186 more.
Want the lightest option? The Clarke Maxxi II 35 holds 9 gallons, weighs 25 lbs and has a 50 ft cord, for $33 more. Or for wet and dry pickup without touching the filter, see the NaceCare CV 570 CombiVac.

The tank is 10 gallons, but Tornado rates its wet working capacity at 5 gallons. Above that the float shuts off suction to protect the motor. For bigger water jobs, the Taskforce 15 (10 gal wet) or Taskforce 20 (15 gal wet) hold more.
For dry pickup it uses a cloth filter to catch dust. Before you pick up water, remove the dry filter so it doesn't get soaked. The washable cartridge filter (WD36) comes off the float cage for cleaning and re-use.
A 1.5" x 10' crush-resistant hose with swivel connector, a 2-piece wand, a hard floor tool, a squeegee tool, a dust brush and a crevice tool.
No. Tornado offers the front mount squeegee only for the Taskforce 15, 17 and 20. If you want one, the Taskforce 20 comes with it standard.
29 lbs, with built-in 7" non-scuff rear wheels and 3" swivel casters, so it's easy to roll and carry up a few steps.
Tornado covers the Taskforce 10 with 2 years on parts, 10 years on the rotomolded tank and 2 years on labor.
