NaceCare AVB 4X Pull-Back Carpet and Hard Floor Extractor, 4 Gallon, 11"
(855) 601-5678 · support@oneupcleaning.com
A hotel room with carpet by the bed and LVT by the door. A private office, a meeting room, the walk-off mats at the front entrance. These are small spaces where a full-size extractor is overkill. The NaceCare AVB 4X pull-back extractor cleans an 11-inch path with a rotating cylindrical brush, and a lever on the vacuum head switches it from carpet to hard floor.
It weighs 52 pounds, rolls on large rear wheels and runs at 69 dB(A), so daytime cleaning is realistic. NaceCare rates it at 1,000 square feet an hour.
The AVB 4X is a low-moisture machine. Its pump runs at 60 psi and puts down 0.4 gallons a minute, a third of what a full-size extractor sprays. With a 2 hp vacuum pulling it back up, carpets dry faster and there's less risk of over-wetting hard floor seams.
The trade-off is that it's a maintenance machine, not a restoration machine. For heavily soiled traffic lanes, pre-spray and go slowly, or step up to the AVB 9X with its 130 psi pump and 16-inch path. The 4-gallon tanks also mean a refill about every 10 minutes of spraying, which is fine room by room but slow on a ballroom.
Carpet and hard floors. A lever on the vacuum head and a front shoe pick up solution from LVT, tile and sealed floors.
Rotating cylindrical brush. Real agitation in a machine this size, so it cleans instead of just rinsing.
2 hp vacuum. 106 cfm and 120 inches of water lift for good recovery.
Easy to move. 52 pounds, large rear wheels and tanks that separate for the van.
Removable recovery tank. Lift it off and dump it in the sink.
69 dB(A). Quiet enough for hotels and offices during the day.

Machine only. The AVB 4X with its brush, vacuum head and 33-foot cord, ready for open carpet and hard floor. NaceCare's spec sheet mentions a spotting tool, but its newer product sheet doesn't, so we're confirming what's in the box. Call us if you need to know before you order.

With the 8-foot hose and hand tool. Adds NaceCare's 8-foot, 1.25-inch solution and vacuum hose (13008PE) and the 4-inch plastic hand tool (1112PPE), the pair NaceCare lists for the AVB 4X. Use them on stairs, spots, upholstery and car mats. It adds $321, the same as buying both separately.
Flip the lever on the vacuum head to the hard floor position and the front shoe drops into place to pick up the solution. Use a neutral cleaner, keep the spray light and overlap your passes. The brush scrubs the grout lines and the textured LVT that a mop just glides over.
It's a good fit for hotel bathrooms and entries, small break rooms and LVT in apartments. For a whole floor of tile or a warehouse, an auto scrubber is the right machine.
The AVB 4X costs $2,295.
Bigger carpet. The NaceCare AVB 9X has a 16-inch path, 9-gallon tanks and a 130 psi pump, and runs at 60 dB(A), for $2,000 more.
Carpet only, smaller budget. The Tornado Mini-Marathon 370 has a 12-inch path and 3.7-gallon tanks and weighs 49 pounds, for $796 less. Its pump runs at 20 psi and NaceCare's has three times the pressure plus the hard floor setting.
Stairs and upholstery first. The NaceCare TP 8X box extractor comes with a wand and 20-foot hose and has a 130 psi pump, for $100 less.

Yes. A lever on the vacuum head switches it between carpet and hard floor, and a front shoe picks up the solution on LVT, tile and other sealed floors. Use a neutral cleaner and a light spray.
Yes. The pump runs at 60 psi and puts down 0.4 gallons a minute, about a third of a full-size extractor. Less water down means faster drying, which suits maintenance cleaning between deep cleans.
NaceCare rates it at 1,000 square feet an hour with an 11-inch path. It's built for hotel rooms, private offices, meeting rooms, lobbies and entrance mats, not ballrooms or long corridors.
NaceCare's spec sheet mentions a spotting tool, but its newer product sheet doesn't, so we're confirming what ships in the box. To be sure you have one, choose the package with the 8-foot hose and plastic hand tool.
It weighs 52 pounds. It rolls on large rear wheels, the tanks separate for transport and the recovery tank lifts off for emptying.
Use a low-foam chemical and add defoamer to the recovery tank if foam appears. After each job, empty both tanks, run clean water through the pump and leave the recovery tank open to dry. Wash wool carpet with cold water only.
Under NaceCare's 2025 US warranty chart for carpet extractors: 10 years on the polyethylene tanks, 2 years on motors, switches and electrical parts, and 2 years labor.
